All's well now between Devender Goud and the TDP. The Ex-home minister and the number 2 man in the TDP has now returned to his old party. He along with Pedi Reddy has submitted their resignation to the PRP founder and chief Chiranjeevi. Goud referred to his leaving the TDP as an unfortunate episode and a historic blunder. He said he has realized (albeit late) that TDP is the only party that can fight the anti-democratic manner in which the Congress was running the state. Elaborating on the historic blunder aspect Goud said “We need to correct our past mistakes and hence, are joining the TDP, which is our parent party,” he said. For the first time since the loss in April Chandrababu is gaining a semblance of a grip on the party affairs. With Goud coming back, Babu has a good organizer who can steady the ship in turbulent times. Goud has convinced his followers that the State only has place for two parties and has reportedly assured CBN that there are at least 7 more leaders waiting to quit the PRP and join the TDP.
