Off late all mega heroes movies satellite rights have been bagged by MAA TV as Chiranjeevi and Allu Aravind are stake holders of MAA TV. Gemini TV which belongs to south india's biggest TV Network company SUN Network could not able to buy the movies of Mega heroes due to the exuberant prices paid by MAA TV in the competition.
Gemini TV has offered a fancy never heard of price to Allu Aravind for Magadheera's satellite rights in order to make sure MAA TV does not get it. In a fierce competition between the MAA and GEMINI TV for the satellite rights of Magadheera the quote has gone up to 7 Crore rupees for the rights. Anuska and Syamprasad Reddy's Arundathi satellite rights were sold for 6 crores and Magadheera breaking the high price with one crore margin. Now the big question is whether our TV Channels does have the market to get the huge investments?
Pawan Kalyan's Komaram Puli Satellite rights were sold for 5 Crore rupees and this is the highest figure for any movie which was not released. Mahesh Babu's industry hit movie Pokiri Satellite rights were sold for 1.08 Cr and Sainikudu for 1.3 Cr(before release). Megastar Chiranjeevi's Stalin was for 1.5 Cr rupees and NTR's Yamadonga for 1.75 Cr rupees.
