Rajahmundry Congress MP Vundvalli Arun Kumar on Monday met Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi at the latter’s chamber in the state assembly, this meeting resulted raisingj of many doubts, Along with Vundavalli, minister Vatti Vasanth Kumar also joined Arun Kumar and met Chiru, Sources said the Congress leaders had discussed the issue of natural gas exploration in the K-G basin, pricing of gas and profit sharing issues with Chiranjeevi. They reportedly told him that the erstwhile Telugu Desam Party government had to be blamed for the entire controversy at present and the Congress government was doing its best to get the best bargain for the state. It may be mentioned that Chiranjeevi has taken up an agitation on the natural gas issue in a big way and there was a good response from the people for his “maha dharna” at Etimoga in East Godavari district a couple of days ago.
