Ram Charan's Magadheera is in political crossroads at Tirupati. Quoting archaic laws officials in the temple town are adamant that they will not allow more than 4 shows of Magadheera to be played in any thetre in Tirupati. Enraged Ram Charan fans in the area are rightly crying foul. Officials, however, are citing law and order problem behind the restriction. Tirupati RDO M Venkateshwarlu said no theatre in the temple town would be allowed to run more than four shows of ‘Magadheera’. “Films may have been exhibited six to seven times in the past. But we will not allow it this time,” he stressed. Venegapalli Prasad a Ram Charan fan says “this is pure politics at play”. The problem he told this correspondent is "7 out of the 10 theatres that are exhibiting Magadheera belong to PRP leaders." But many like Prasad feel that this restriction will only increase the curiosity factor in the movie and will further help it. Fans are expecting the black ticket prices to touch Rs. 7000 for the first day first show in Tirupati. Chiranjeevi fans association members have appealed for calm and said that they do not want any untoward incident to mar the opening as they feel that the film has inherent stamina to succeed in the box office.
