The state president of the Telugu Mahila, the woman wing of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Ms K Roja, on Tuesday dubbed Praja Rajyam Party (PRP president Chiranjeevi as a psychic.
“As the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has rejected the PRP request and joined the Maha Kutami (Grand Alliance), Chiranjeevi is now behaving like a psychic who is turned down by his love,” she commented while addressing media persons at the NTR Trust Bhavan here on Tuesday after the TDP Legislature Party meeting.
Ms Roja is of the firm opinion that the fear of losing the polls and the PRP’s defeat in the Assembly election are haunting Chiranjeevi day and night. “He is resorting to verbal attacks on everyone due to fear psychosis,” she remarked.
The Telugu Mahila president basically sharpened her guns at Chiranjeevi though she spoke on various issues. The PRP president was at the centre of attack of Ms Roja. She touched on the TRS joining the Grand Alliance and also on the issue of the TRS turning down the request of Chiranjeevi.
She wanted the ongoing Budget session of the Assembly take up a detailed debate on the increasing attacks on women in different parts of the State. “We will meet the Assembly Speaker, Mr K R Suresh Reddy, with a memorandum to this effect,” she said and demanded that the vacancies in the Mahila Commission be filled immediately in order to enable the commission to take up the woman issues.
