The disgraced former chairman of Satyam Computers Ramainga Raju is now cooling his heels in the Chenchalguda jail. Raju is believed to have led a very lavish lifestyle.
Raju was fond of big labels and would often buy the most expensive shoes, suits and ties. Raju has more than 1000 pairs of suits. He also has more than 321 pairs of shoes and as many ties.
Raju had an insatiable appetite for land and buildings and the CID sleuths have unearthed documents that show that he has acquired high-end properties in 63 countries. Raju even bought a telescope and got it installed at his farmhouse in Medchal. The telescope is said to cost over one crore.
