TDP launches a high-impact ad campaign

The TDP publicity wing is getting its act together in an extremely focused manner. A TV commercial has a Nagarjuna-look alike sitting in a dim lit room and warning the electorate that major irrigation projects have pushed the state to the brink of insolvency. Another term with the Congress, the actor look alike warns, and A.P could very well be pushed into the abyss. . It is rumored that a high profile Tollywood director has come up with the idea of using Tollywood star lookalikes so as to negate the impact of Nagarjuna, Krishna and Mahesh Babu who have cast their lot with the Congress. And then there is an animated version of a very native campaign called “Lokam Kodai Koosthondhi” in which two chickens discuss the corruption in the Congress. The 30-second commercial, though low on production values is sure to have a high impact in the rural and semi urban areas. The dialogues are topical and the words used are simple. The commercial has been received very well and enjoys a high recall.
