Hyderabad, Jan 4 : As a part of its election campaign, the BJP's state unit will organise three Vijaya Sankalp Yatras in Andhra Pradesh next month, a party leader said today. The party's prime ministerial candidate L K Advani will address the first Vijaya Sankalp Yatra in Vijayawada on February 4, State party chief Bandaru Dattatreya told reporters here. Preparation for the first meeting, in which people from coastal districts will participate in large numbers, have begun, he said. Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the second Yatra which will be organised in the second week of February in Karimnagar town, the former Union Minister said adding that the last meeting will be organised in Rayalseema region. The party has chalked out various mass contact programmes that will begin from January 19 to highlight corruption and failures of the state government, the BJP leader said. On separate statehood for Telangana, Dattatreya said demonstrations will be conducted in all Telangana district headquarters tomorrow as a part of "Telangana in 100 days" campaign. BJP's official spokesman N Ramachander Rao, who was also present at the press conference, said the party's legal cell would launch an agitation against the Y S Rajasekhar Reddy-led government in the state. A chargesheet against corruption by the state government in the past four and half years will be released on January 20 after a demonstration here, he said.
