Chiranjeevi seems to have had enough of Chandrababu accusing him of taking defectors from the TDP. Addressing a massive rally at Kuppam in Chittoor district, the PRP chief said Chandrababu himself was a defector from the Congress party. He said he would like to ask Chandrababu about how the TDP could accept Danam Nagender and Gaali Muddukrishnama Naidu into its fold. He termed the TDP leader as an opportunist who spared no effort to cling onto power. The culture of land scams, Chiranjeevi declared, started during Chandrababu's regime. He reminded the people of Chittoor that Heritage diary was the sole reason of the eventual closure of Chittoor diary. The grand alliance, Chiranjeevi said, was born out of Chandrababu's fear of defeat. The PRP, Chiranjeevi declared, was a transparent party and had nothing to hide. He appealed to the voters that the 2009 polls was their chance to create electoral history by voting for the PRP and defeating the Congress and the TDP.
