Hyderabad, Jan 4 : The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) would make its stand clear on electoral alliances by the end of this month, a senior party leader said today.
"We will make our stand clear on the issue of alliances by the end of this month," senior TRS leader T Harish Rao told reporters here.
TRS has been holding discussions with both Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Chiranjeevi's Praja Rajyam Party for several weeks for the assembly and Lok Sabha elections, scheduled to be held in April this year.
TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu has been wooing the TRS president to join the grand alliance of TDP, CPI(M) and CPI.
Keeping everybody guessing, TRS has also been having talks with the Praja Rajyam over possibility of alliance.
The TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao has asserted that his party would not want not to be a junior partner in the alliance but would like to contest in majority of seats in the Telangana region.
