Addressing a press conference in Ranga Reddy district, Hyderabad, the PRP chief said Chandrababu was an opportunist who changed sides at the slightest pretext. He accused Chandrababu of discarding NTR’s philanthropic and welfare measures. Belt shops, Chiranjeevi noted, owed their very birth due to Chandrababu’s “progressive and forward looking” policies. Satyam and Maytas Chiranjeevi alleged were given undue importance by Chandrababu Naidu’s regime. Chiranjeevi also said that Chandrababu was a master at misguiding people. Referring to the promises made by Chandrababu, Chiranjeevi observed that the TDP leader was very well aware that those promises cannot be fulfilled. He appealed to the people to participate in the coming election and vote for the PRP as the party had a clean image and was devoid of any corruption.
