TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu launched his two-day ‘Mee Kosam’ yatra in the district from Ponduru mandal at around 12 noon on Sunday. People welcomed the yatra all along the 60-km route touching Amudalavalasa and Etcherla Assembly constituencies.
Mr. Naidu appealed to the people to vote for the TDP in the ensuing elections. Crowd response to his speeches was good at Ponduru, Rapaka, Tolapi, Dalavalasa, Kotipalle and Kinthali villages.
The TDP chief stressed on alleged corrupt practices of Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy in his speeches. He also showered several promises on youth, women and weavers.
