TRS going the PRP way

KCR’s TRS is fast gravitating towards Chiranjeevi’s PRP. In a matter of sorts this was always on the cards for both the parties. For obvious compulsions Chiranjeevi could not align with the BJP. And KCR found the scene too crowded in the grand alliance. Yechury’s declaration on Telengana was just about the last straw that broke an already fragile association. The PRP was quick to pounce in and seize the chance. It has reportedly offered KCR a whopping 10 LS seats and 58 MLA seats. The TRS however is asking for 60 assembly seats. The PRP sees no problem in stretching that little distance, if that is what it takes for KCR to cement the alliance. However insiders in the TRS reveal that it would be too premature to shut the doors on Chandrababu’s alliance. They feel that KCR’s displeasure is not with the TDP as much as it is the left. So they do not rule out a rapprochement of sorts between the TDP and the TRS. The TDP meanwhile has stated that the doors were always open for the TRS.
