The refurbished Satyam Board is doing everything in its means in an attempt to restore confidence among its various stakeholders. This includes posting video messages on www.youtube.com in an attempt to restore confidence among employees and investors. Satyam has also put up a message in its site wherein it has stated that “The Board is sending personalized, direct communication to all key customers, articulating recent positive developments, to restore their confidence in Satyam.” Employees meanwhile have begun to harbor hopes of a turnaround of sorts on hearing news about payment issues being met till 2009 March. Most of them feel that the biggest threat will emanate from the clients once their project / MSAs expire in due course of time. They feel that if the new board can restore confidence the clients will once again sign MSAs and the projects will start flowing like before. However, most of them are skeptical and are waiting for the news of the appointments of CEO and the CFO.
