The leader of the Talli Telangna party Vijayashanthi has been lying low for some time. Vijayashanthi was one of the people who were in the forefront in the separate Telangana agitation. After making a good start, the movement slowly fizzled.
The Talli Telangana party now does not have a big cadre and Vijyashanthi has been toying with the idea of entering into an alliance with the TRS. But she is now reported to have decided to merge her party with the TRS. She is keen to contest the next Lok Sabha elections from the Bhuvanagri constituency.
