Satyam Computer Services Ltd on Thursday claimed that the total number of employees working in the company as claimed by the regional provident fund organisation does not take into account those staff who are working in various subsidiaries of Satyam abroad.
In a statement here, it said the PF account tally quoted by PFO does not include "associates of Satyam Computer Services who are foreign nationals who do not fall under India's PF regulations," those "associates employed by subsidiaries of Satyam in countries such as China and Brazil" and "associates of Satyam BPO and other companies acquired by Satyam globally."
