TDP leader Balakrishna commented that Chiranjeevi’s political entry was only glamour-based and it will not have any sustainable impact in the immediate future. The actor-turned politician made this remark while addressing s series of meetings in Kurnool. Huge crowds greeted Balakrishna in Bethamcherla, Doane, Banaganapalle and, Allagadda. Balakrishna promised that women will get 33% of the tickets and BCs would be given 100 seats. Balakrishna said he will not be contesting for an MP and indicated that he would in all probability be contesting as a MLA from any constituency in the West or East Godavari district. In his speeches at the said venues, Balakrishna received tremendous response from the crowd whenever he spoke about his late father, and founder of the TDP, N.T Rama Rao. He said the Congress’s corruption had crossed all limits and it was about time the party was packed off from power. Meanwhile Tammineni Sitaram of the PRP said Balakrishna’s politics was also based on glamour and he did not have any right to make a comment about Chiranjeevi.
