Roja’s hatred for Chiranjeevi and his brothers seems to have crossed all limits of acceptable decency. Yesterday the actress called Pavan kalyan a “Kallu thagina Kothi” (drunken monkey). Her remark caused a tremendous uproar in the PRP cadre and they resorted to a protest march in front of the TDP office. They raised slogans against NTR, Roja and Chandrababu Naidu. Nine TDP activists were injured and had to be given medical attention. The Banjara Hills police rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. Chandrababu Naidu condemned the attack on the TDPP activists in the strongest possible terms. Ms. Nannapanein Raja Kumari of TDP observed that, “this is the first time members of one political party have attacked the office of another political party. It only shows the presence of rowdy elements in the Praja Rajyam Party.” She said the PR leaders were using different yardsticks of morality for their leaders and leaders from other political parties.
