Chiranjeevi stated that he will contest from Tirupati in addition to contesting from another seat either in Nalgonda or East Godavari districts. He made this comment during Nizamabad leg of Praja Ankita Yatra. The actor-turned politician was highly critical of the TRS joining the alliance. He termed the Mahakutami as a Mayakutami and said that the alliance partners were sitting on a wooden horse and mistaking it for a real horse. Addressing a press conference Bichkandu village, the PRP chief said there was no possibility of a hung assembly emerging in the coming polls. He said the verdict would be decisive and would reflect the intelligence of the voter. To another question about YSR accusing him of not doing any development in Mogaltur, the megastar said that YSR should also ask himself as to what kind of development he did for his native village when he was first elected as a MLA in 1978.
